It can be hard to talk about complex experiences and emotions, but we tend to carry them in our bodies as tension, constriction, a sense of "stuckness", or even illness. Somatic movement enables us to process the emotions we've held and release what no longer serves us. Expressive arts allow us to give voice to what we struggle to communicate and even understand.
